What is a blank space copy and paste?

Have you ever wanted to copy and paste a large block of white, or blank space? You may have noticed that when attempting to copy and paste other types of items, such as text, images, and media files, it is fairly straightforward. However, when it comes to blank space—which usually appears as a white page in the web browser—it is not so easy. Fortunately, there are some ways you can easily create and insert a blank space into webpages with minimal effort.

A blank space copy and paste is simply the act of copying an invisible HTML tag known as 'white-space' and pasting it into a website or other online format. This HTML tag acts like regular text in terms of being able to be formatted; however it does not display any visible characters on the page. While some HTML tags are used for adding functionality or design elements to websites, this particular type is solely dedicated to creating blank spaces on a webpage.

When using this method of copying an invisible white-space tag and pasting it onto a webpage, keep in mind that there are two different sizing options available: fixed size (established by you) or variable size (determined by the browser). By choosing one option over the other the amount of extra space you're creating will be determined based on your experience or design preferences.
